1. Pre-assembly Preparation
– Clean all components thoroughly, remove oil stains and metal shavings; check seals, bearings, and other wear-prone parts for integrity. Do not use deformed or damaged components.
– Prepare specialized assembly tools (torque wrench, press machine, alignment pins) and avoid using brute force to strike.
2. Core Assembly Steps
(1) Install the piston into the hammer cylinder, apply specialized hydraulic oil, and ensure the piston moves smoothly without sticking.
(2) Install the seals (oil seals, O-rings) at both ends of the cylinder. Apply grease to the seals and press them in according to the prescribed order to avoid twisting or deformation.
(3) Install the drill rod, insert the drill rod bushing, ensure the drill rod is aligned with the piston, then install the drill rod pin and stop block to prevent the drill rod from falling off.
(4) Install the side plates and bolts, and tighten evenly with a torque wrench to the specified torque (usually 250-350 N·m). Use anti-loosening washers and tighten in a cross pattern.
(5) Connect the hydraulic pipeline interfaces and install dust caps to prevent foreign matter from entering.
3. Commissioning and Inspection
– Conduct a no-load test, introduce hydraulic oil (pressure 14-16 MPa), run for 5-10 minutes, and check for leaks, unusual noises, and whether the piston operates normally.
– Test the striking frequency to ensure it meets design requirements (usually 600-1200 impacts per minute) without hammer sticking or double strikes.
