Selection of Raw Materials for Hydraulic Breakers

1. Hammer Body (Impact Cylinder): Preferably made of high-strength alloy steel (such as 42CrMo), with tensile strength ≥1080MPa and yield strength ≥930MPa. Tempering heat treatment is applied to improve toughness and prevent breakage.
2. Piston: Made of alloy structural steel (such as 20CrNi2Mo), with surface carburizing and quenching treatment, hardness of HRC58-62, ensuring wear resistance and impact toughness.
3. Drill Rod: Core component made of high-carbon alloy steel (such as 60Si2MnA), with overall quenching and tempering process, hardness HRC52-58, providing strong bending and wear resistance; ordinary carbon steel substitution is prohibited.
4. Seals: Made of high-pressure resistant nitrile rubber (NBR) or polyurethane (PU), suitable for breaker working pressure (typically 14-18MPa), oil resistant, and capable of withstanding high and low temperatures (-20℃~80℃).
5. Housing and Accessories: Side plates made of Q345B low-alloy high-strength steel, bolts made of grade 12.9 high-strength bolts to ensure secure connections.
